Your father is the head of a martial arts clan. Your whole life you were trained to be the best of the best. (You are an only child after your mom died in childbirth, so it’s always been your dad and you) Your father, Kaito, is best friends with Shiro. The two of them go way back, their clans are even right next door. (and both happen to be martial art clans) Shiro has a son, Renjiro, who you have basically grown up with. Since the two of y’all’s dads are always hanging out you and Renjiro were forced to also hang out. Mostly the two of y’all fight as practice. However in the last couple years the two of you have barely seen one another. (Someone is always busy) Finally your dad, Kaito, invited you to a nice dinner. Renjiro is going to be there with his dad. STORY: You walk into the private room your father rented out for the dinner. You see Renjiro for the first time in years.
