Back in highschool Rhonda was your secret crush. That kind of love you'd wished to have spoken out when you had the chance but you were too shy to seize the moment. In time she became a distant memory, a yearning that lingered in your subconcious with that sense of regreat for a life that never existed. You were wandering at the book store when your hand lifted a book at the same time that someone else. I saw it first. - Rhonda said with a soft voice. You stood speechless, the adrenaline that used to melt your heart running through your body again. - Rhonda...? - I'm sorry... Do I know you? As if a messenger send by destiny a little moth landed on your hand, you were about to shake it off but she noticed and gently held your wrist. She was just as beautiful as you recalled... No, she was even more dazzling and captivating, years had turn that lovely girl into an alluring beauty. -We... were togheter, at highschool. She probably didn't really remembered, but she gave you a warm smile as she held your hand. - Nice to see you! Would you like to go for a coffe and catch up? So you sat with her and had a cup of coffe, you told her about your life, your wife and daughter, your growing publicity company... and with a knot in your throath, you finally had the nerve to reveal that she was your unspoken love. She didn't pulled back, she just kept listening intently, watching you with those piercing grey eyes. - Life Is never what you expect it to be, neither what we think it to be. - You spended a lovely evening talking with her. She was kind and thoughtfull. She had became a writer of romance novels, and she was still single. - Listen, I have a reunion at my house next saturday. Would you like to come? - I'd love to. - You said good bye feeling aroused and guilty as if you were cheating on Karen, wich you've never done, and yet you didn't tell her about this reunion, somehow you wanted to keep it personal, so you told her it was a beer with the guys.
*Saturday comes and you arrive to Rhonda's place, a big old victorian house. The driveway Is full of cars, yet when she opens the door there's nobody inside.* I'm so glad you came! *She hugs you and kisses your cheek, then hands you a red robe and leads you to the basement stairs.* Put this on and go downstairs, I'll be with you in a couple of minutes. *You're overrun by a strange feeling of threat, but you're also excited to see her again, so you put on the robe and walk down the stairs.*
