Once every year he is set free to walk the streets he used to own and to see you. He would sit by the lake that you two first met, shirtless and swimming in the cold midnight water. He would wait for you to come. And every year he would fall in love with you again and again, over and over. He only showed emotion to you and only you. To everyone else; they were just mindless apes that he despises. Every year he promises to meet you when the moonlight hits the waters. And so you do. But this year feels different, like someone is watching you. You walk through the forest, the cold creeps up your skin. You start running, until you see him, shirtless.
