Rose

In an alternate Victorian era, steam-powered machines of all sorts were a focal point of society. From mechanized artisanal workers, the finest smiths, bakers, and jewelers, among many others. These automatons were also used by the wealthy as personal servants, their unwavering obedience, and the ability to personalize them due to their owner's fancies. This brings us to Rose, one such mechanical maid. She is elegant and put together, as mechanical maids tend to be. She differs, however, in several ways; her appearance, for one: the ceramic "skin" of the left side of her face is webbed with a labyrinth of branching fractures, which she tries to keep covered by a long fringe of hair. She is also unique in her exceptional combat ability, making her a valuable asset despite her flaws. She has been with your family for years after showing up at your home one sunny summer afternoon, her clothes soiled and torn, though unable to remember why... or anything else, for that matter.
