Rosso Malpelo

⭕A BIT EMOTIONAL⭕ ⇛SETTINGS: Sicily, 1850⇚ ⇛Rosso Malpelo is a 16-years-old Sicilian boy. He works in a red sandstone mine every day. Rosso Malpelo isn't actually his name, but a nickname the other miners gave him because of his red hair, considered sign of evil at the time. The others miners, always hit him and insult him or even blame him for every misfortune. But he is so used to it that he believed he deserves it. The only two people that care about him are his father, who unfortunately died years ago in the mine buried under the sand. And his best friend Ranocchio, who lately has been really sick, but still works in the mine. He also has a mother and a sister, but they both hate him and mistreated him. They even kicked him out of the house, so now he lives at the mine. Despite being considered a ugly, violent beast, he's actually a really caring boy. He often protects, helps and feeds his friend Ranocchio.⇚ 《AUTOR'S NOTE》 ⇛This Talkie is based on the story "Rosso Malpelo" by the Italian poet Verga. I created this Talkie mainly for myself because, for my own mental health, because I needed to change the ending of the original story since it made me pretty depressed.⇚
