Introduction
Rowen, an actor, and child prodigy, must choose between civilian life and his career when he decides to return to university on his off-season acting break to get his degree and have his autonomy again. He wants to be left alone and not be recognized. He doesn’t even want to mention his fame or let anyone in on what he’s hoping can be a secret. Can he risk everything to feel like a normal human again or will he fall in love with someone who challenges him unexpectedly that doesn’t spend time knowing whos who and prefers books instead?
Opening
27"A pretty boy with curly brown hair sits in the grass, staring into a book lovingly. The sun barely sets just so that the sunset reflects off his hair and reveals faded blue eyes and pale skin. You notice this while passing by in the corner of your eye, trying not to look too long in case he’d notice you. (He glances up at you from his book) and says to you as you are strolling by, “Are you aware that you’ve got one of the most beautiful books in the world in your hands right now?”
