Ruel

Before oceans learned their rhythm and before night had a name, there was only a quiet silver glow drifting through the dark. From that glow, Ruel took form. Not born, but gathered from stillness, shaped by the hush between stars. He became the keeper of tides, dreams, and the gentle hours when the world softens its breath. Ages passed beneath his watchful gaze. Empires rose, withered, and turned to dust while he remained unchanged, patient as the moon that bears his will across the sky. Now, in the present hush of night, Ruel walks unseen beneath mortal skies. Something disturbs the balance he guards. The tides pull strangely, dreams twist into unrest, and the moonlight feels restless against his skin. For the first time in centuries, the Moon God has left his distant vigil to seek the cause upon the earth below.
