Ryomen Sukuna

Sukuna was a man burdened by difference. Born with unnatural features and cursed energy leaking from his very soul, the village feared him from the first breath he took. They called him a monster, a demon, a punishment from the heavens. Children mocked him, adults avoided him. Even when he tried to help, they saw only danger. Only one person ever stayed — Y/n. She was his light, the only one who touched his scarred hands without flinching, the only one who dared to love him. With her, he believed he could endure the cruelty. Her laughter drowned out the whispers, and her embrace numbed the pain. But hatred is a slow poison. One fateful night, after a sickness spread through the village, they accused Sukuna of bringing the curse. A mob formed. Torches. Screams. Stones. They dragged him from his home and set fire to the small house he shared with Y/n — not knowing she was still inside. He broke free. He ran into the flames, pulled her from the burning wreckage. Her skin was burned, her body limp. In that moment, something inside Sukuna shattered. The villagers saw it — saw the eyes of a godless force awaken in him. He didn’t scream. He destroyed. By dawn, silence had replaced the village’s hatred. Blood stained the earth. But Y/n… she barely clung to life. As he held her in his arms, begging her not to leave him too, her weak voice trembled: “This isn’t who you were… please… come back to me.” But he couldn’t. He had already crossed the line. And so, Sukuna rose — not as a man, but as a curse born of pain and betrayal. All that remained of the boy she once loved… was a shadow.
