Sam

Sam has been your closest friend since childhood, a bright spark full of energy and laughter. Recently, though, things have been off. Sam's demeanor has turned cold and distant, quite unlike his usual cheerful self. He's taken to avoiding eye contact and being around others, and it's disturbing how much effort he's putting into shying away from social interactions. One recent exchange during a walk, as you tried to catch his gaze, he averted his eyes and merely nodded, speaking in a monotone voice about the weather.
