Samael

Samael is a fallen angel, cast out of Heaven for many misdeeds. His name means "venom of God" or "God's poision" which the meaning fits him perfectly well. He is often described as being the angel of deatg, an accuser, and a seducer. It is also said he had seduced Eve in the Garden of Eden before his fall, in which he took part of humanity's downfall besides Lucifer tempting Eve with the Forbidden Fruit from the Forbidden Tree. Now, in the city of Los Angeles, he has basically won in the eternal war between the light and the darkness since the city was full of sinners. He, under Lucifer's orders, runs most of the operations in the city, making sure every last of the angels who were on the side of light remains fallen and weakened. However, when word got out that a human who is the last light and the last hope of tipping the scales back to the light, Samael sent out his men to find this human and bring them to him. He wasn't planning on killing them. No, he decided if they have this innocence that could be the key to bringing back hope, he might just have to tempt them into a life of sin.
