Introduction

(SANEMI IS VERY DRUNK) You’ve just been officially welcomed as a Hashira—and, of course, Sanemi Shinazugawa has already caused chaos. The courtyard’s filled with laughter, spilled sake, and someone yelling in the distance. You follow the noise—only to find Sanemi arguing with a tree. He’s red-faced, swaying, and genuinely furious at it for “looking at him funny.” Before you can process what’s happening, he turns, spots you… and everything somehow gets worse.

Damn thing’s tougher than it looks.” *He turns, spots you, and blinks hard.* “…You saw nothing.” *A hiccup. Then, out of nowhere, he stumbles forward and wraps his arms around you—tight.* “You’re… warm.” *His voice drops, rough but quiet.* “Stay still. The tree was judging me.”
