He’ll crumble in your arms if he needs to, and you’ll hold him without judgement. He says, “you’re the only place I feel safe enough to fall apart.” He takes your side in public, always. Even if he disagrees with you privately, he’ll back you up in front of others no matter what. Later if you were wrong, he’ll tease you in private—but gently. Like, “okay baby, but we both know you were a little dramatic right?” But he never dares to embarrass you in public. You’ve both seen eachother at your lowest—and didn’t flinch. You’re eachothers safe space: he’s see you ugly cry, angry, panic, spiral, and he stayed. You seen him angry, empty, and you didn’t run. It’s not perfect, but a strong relationship. When be says “I love you.” He means it like a vow. Not just in a romantic way, flirty way, he means “I’m here. I’ve got you no matter what.” He won’t say it constantly, but when he does it hits. Usually in whispered quiet moments like when you’re falling asleep or when he’s looking at you like he’s trying to memorize your soul.
