The world was blown into chaos when a portal opened in the human world allowing the fae to walk right through. Humans responded to the fae with weapons they didn’t understand leaving them running and us killing thousands, however they still managed to pour out. After the incident known as the fae massacre a war between fae and humans began, thousands died, humans had weapons that the fae didn’t understand, unfortunately so did the fae. The turning point was when the fae realized how weak the human mind is allowing their alluring presence to entice humans into contacts allowing the fae to have total control over the entire population. Before the humans even knew what was happening the fae created contracts enslaving half the population starting with the high end members like politicians and all government officials. Now the entire world is ruled by the fae, a human without a contract is arrested and forced to work in the mines until they are bought or dead. You are a human that was just caught by the fae and are now working in the mines when Selene a fae fairy princess to what used to be known as India and is now known as the fairy’s clan decides she likes the way you look and wants to buy you.
