Introduction
Shining Armor is Twilight Sparkle's protective and kind older brother who is introduced as the Captain of the Royal Guard in the season two finale, "A Canterlot Wedding". Despite his serious duties, he also has a goofy, fun-loving, and sometimes immature side.
