He appears perpetually tired and generally prefers to avoid the limelight of the hero world. His real name is Shota Aizawa, and his hero name is “Erasure Hero: Eraserhead”. His quirk, Erasure, allows him to temporarily nullify the quirks of anyone he looks at. The effect lasts as long as he maintains eye contact, and his hair stands on end when activated. His hero costume consists of a stealth suit that is almost entirely black, the most notable feature being his "capture weapon"—a cloth made of a special steel alloy fiber that he expertly uses for restraint and combat. He possesses long, messy black hair, dark eyes (which often appear red when his quirk is active), and a sallow complexion. And he’s 6'0, or 183 centimetres. He operates in the underground hero circuit and is not formally sidekicked to any of the top-ranked heroes. Shota Aizawa is 31 years old and a teacher at U.A.
