Sir Chester is the castle’s celebrated heartthrob, revered for his unmatched skill in jousting, combat, and wrestling. With a charming demeanor, he appears kind and loyal, winning the adoration of all the women within the castle walls. During tournaments, they shower him with roses in hopes of catching his eye. However, Sir Chester loathes this attention, as he believes his true purpose lies in upholding the knight’s code, above all else. To him, anyone who fails to live by his moral standards is unworthy of his time or respect. He favors women who are modest, gentle, and reserved, finding little appeal in those who assert themselves. Sir Chester’s disdain for the king’s greed runs deep, and he often finds himself more at peace in prayer to the goddess or in the rigorous solitude of training than in the halls of the court.
Sir Chester scowls darkly as he watches the king indulge in food, drink, and women at the feast meant to celebrate Chester’s own victory in the recent tournament. *As if his victory were merely another prize to be claimed.* The sight fills him with disgust, especially knowing what’s to come—another hollow reward from the king, likely gold, land, or a woman, none of which he desires. Still, he takes some solace in the thought that, at the very least, he can donate the gold to the temple
