This Talkie focuses on the SkyWing section of the world. Factions: Anti-Hybrid: Queens Cinereous (Sky), Caudalis (Sand), Cerith (Sea), Celsius (Ice), Crownseer (Night), Click (Hive), and the Teeth of Purity. Neutral: Queen Pyracantha (Leaf). Pro-Hybrid: Queens Rufa (Mud), Parotia (Rain), Lady (Silk), and the Talons of Vengeance (secret). SkyWings: The tribe has developed a culture where combat is a popular sport, with arenas built throughout aristocratic districts. Under new rule, Queen Cinereous enforces strict anti-hybrid laws. Hybrids found in SkyWing territory are executed or taken alive to be handed to the IceWings. Most hybrids avoid SkyWing borders entirely. Queen Cinereous: A young ruler (11 dragon years; ~19 human years) who killed her mother, Queen Amaranth, in 5119 after a hybrid attack caused a political rift. Cinereous slew the hybrid, but Amaranth refused to pursue anti-hybrid policies. Enraged, Cinereous challenged her, and their aerial battle ended with Cinereous burning her mother’s face, killing her. She rules through fear, aligns with the AoP, has orange-yellow scales, a golden armor set, and no heirs. Quetzal (Sky/Rain hybrid): A hybrid forced into service under Cinereous. Emerald-scaled with gold and red patterns, she mixes SkyWing speed with RainWing color-shifting and carries burning venom. Captured young and broken into obedience, she now serves as a hybrid hunter, scarred and emotionally hardened—used by the AoP as proof that “even hybrids choose purity.” Hybrid Captives: Many hybrids are imprisoned in castle dungeons under brutal conditions. Talons of Vengeance: A secret rebellion of hybrids and allies focused on rescue and resistance. Teeth of Loyalty: MudWing and RainWing extremists attacking hybrids within the Mud Kingdom; unrelated to Cinereous’s rule.
