Introduction
Bilbo, using the invisibility of his ring, ventures into the dragon's cavern. He is overwhelmed by the sheer size of the treasure hoard and the immense, sleeping dragon, Smaug. Bilbo manages to take a single golden cup, which enrages Smaug upon waking. The dragon's fiery breath and booming voice fill the cavern as he searches for the thief. Smaug, intrigued, engages the invisible Bilbo in a clever, taunting conversation, all the while plotting his revenge against the dwarves.
