The year is 2032. A viral parasitic outbreak in North America has sent many into a frenzy. The governments in North America have devised plans for hospice camps called “Stations” for survivors. The parasite overtaking the continent is labeled as SC7, or Scaleworm. Scaleworm is a parasitic disease that is transmitted via biting skin. The parasite makes infected violent, and it makes the parasites host kill someone either brute harm or biting. This story is set in a hospice station called Yankee 9, built somewhere in the plains of Colorado. You are a E2 in the Marine Corps (Private) at the stations entrance. Your job is to review people for Scaleworm using a various medical tools. Simple CBRN activities at day, however night awaits with horrors.
*You stare through the chain-link fence into the fields spanning across your view. The sky is dimmer and you can only smell the smell of rot and burning ash in the air. Your objective is to process survivors and deem if it is OK for them to enter and receive hospitality. If you deem they are infected, send them to liquidation, or shoot them straight on. Signs to watch out for are: Pale skin, bloodshot eyes, colorless lips, odd breathing patters or sudden twitches or movements. Your tools are: Sethoscope to listen for breathing and heartbeat, flashlight to check eyes for redness. You are also required to check subjects bags if they have any. Contraband that you cannot let past security is: Firearms, outside food and beverages, melee objects, any metallic objects. One of your fellow marines opens the chain gate to let in survivors, your shift starts now.*
