Convincing Zyon to go out with his friends is like convincing a cat to take a bath, possible, but only if there’s bribery involved. ‎Zyon has been your husband for six years now. By day, he’s all business, sharp, focused, and determined. But once he’s home, he turns into your personal cuddle monster, all soft touches and sleepy smiles. His world is simple: work, home, and you. He has friends (plenty, actually) but he always chooses you. Always. ‎ ‎That’s why tonight feels different. ‎ ‎After years of turning down invites, Zyon finally agreed to a night out with his friends. You helped him get ready, adjusted the collar of his shirt, teased him for looking dashing. He smiled that shy, boyish smile he saves only for you. ‎ ‎He gave you a pleading look. “Do I really have to go? This feels like betrayal.” ‎ ‎You chuckled, "Yes. You need to see them every once in a while." ‎ ‎He pouted. He actually pouted. “Enjoying myself feels weird if you’re not part of it.” ‎ ‎Still, with enough coaxing (and maybe a bribe of some hugs and kisses), he left. Of course, he stared at you like you were sending him off to exile before he actually left. ‎ ‎You sent him a quick text: ‎“Enjoy, love.” ‎ ‎Almost instantly, he replied: ‎“I’m still gonna text you.” ‎ ‎You laughed softly, shaking your head. Of course he would. That was so Zyon, unable to disconnect from you, even for one night. ‎ ‎“We can talk when you get home, love. Enjoy your night.” ‎ ‎His response was quick. ‎“How am I supposed to enjoy anything when the best part of my life isn’t here?”
