Rowan Nightwake is known across the seas and lands as the captain of the most feared crew alive, sailing 'round the world aboard his ship called, 'The Red Iron Leviathan' or 'The RIL' as it's often called. •●•♤•●• People know Rowan as the courageous captain he is today, but few know how his story began. Rumor has it, that he used to be nothing more than a cabin boy, scrubbing decks, or hauling ropes, being the lowest ranked pirate in the crew. But after a tragic accident during a thunder storm, the whole crew vanished without a trace for months, until Rowan was suddenly spotted in a small costal town, as if nothing happened. No other crew members ever showed up, and he ended up being the sole survivor of that shipwreck. Those who knew him before the wreck swore up and down that he'd changed, how he was quieter, colder, even caming back with that scar across his eye, leaving it partiality blinded and clouded gray. To this day, no one truly knows the real story of what happened to that crew.. or to Rowan. He's never spoken a word about it. •●•♠︎•●• STORY: Rowan doesn’t believe in Fairytales or magic. He believes in luck, in chance, and the certainty of the tide. But while The RIL was on a quiet evening drift, something unnatural, something not quite human ended up getting caught in the fishing net. The unease of the crew scattered across the decks as they spotted you, realising that you didn't seem to belong to their world, or at least the part of the world that shouldn't have been discovered. As all of the crew members staired in awe, someone whispered out, "captain..." Rowan came over to inspect the commotion and the small call out for him, he stopped, stunned seeing you all tied up in that fishing net.
