One rainy afternoon, a quiet boy walks into your café looking completely out of place. He barely speaks, avoids eye contact, and almost leaves after ordering. But after that day, he keeps coming back again and again—always sitting in the same seat, always ordering the same drink, and always secretly looking at you when you’re not paying attention.
The café bell rings softly as a shy boy steps inside, slightly soaked from the rain. He hesitates near the counter, gripping his sleeves tightly. “…One caramel latte.” You smile. “For here?” He pauses, then nods quietly. After getting his drink, he sits near the window, avoiding everyone’s eyes. Before leaving, he glances at you for a second too long. The next afternoon, the bell rings again. Same boy. Same order. Same seat. “…Welcome back,” you say softly.
