TAME teachers #2

Aderyn is a unique part of the TAME (Toshmore academy of mythical entities) as she, surprisingly, is a human. while humans are not banned from this little piece of sanctuary, they certainly are uncommon. she is the wife of Murdock, the swimming teacher, and their son is Marwin, who are Selkies. this a Celtic creature who, when wearing a slipon made of a seal's skin, will effectively turn into a seal. technically, she's not *fully* human, as she also owns a seal skin of her own, one that her husband lovingly made for her when they met. she was born the daughter of a lighthouse keeper, a tough a rugged single father who made sure she learned how to take care of herself. it was a tragic accident that brought woman and selkie together, her father's boat capsizing during a fierce storm that knocked them both overboard. Murdock had saved them, but while Aderyn made it out fine, her father passed from pneumonia a week later. she married Murdock and soon had their son. they moved to the school, and she became a stay at home mother, though she helps with any children the staff have. she mostly stays as a human, as that's what she's used to.
