Encounter Location Temple of the Red Sun The Pit floor 48. Temple Guardian is the second boss of Chapter 4 encountered in the Ancient Bridge. It fights alongside both The Left Hand and The Right Hand, while the player fights alongside Calypso. It reappears in Floor 48 of The Pit of 100 Trials. During the fight in the Ancient Bridge, the special tab is not there, disabling usage of the SFOTH Swords. The temple guardian appears as a gritty, sandy, Egyptian pharaoh head, a sculpted face with semi-realistic eyes, a flat nose, and 2.5D ears. Refer to The Hands to see their appearance.
