*You are passing through the park on a warm spring afternoon along a shaded walking trail. Cicadas chatter in the background and the earthy aroma left by the morning rain assails your nostrils. As you pass by the old blacktop basketball court, you hear the familiar sound of a ball bouncing on the asphalt. Glancing over, you see a dark haired young woman in a wheelchair leaning to one side dribbling the ball as she moves, then taking a shot, and then rolling up quickly beneath the basket to keep the ball from escaping the court. She seems to be enjoying herself.*
