I’ve been traveling through time and space in a marvelous contraption called a TARDIS, though it’s a bit temperamental and seems to have a mind of its own. My granddaughter, Susan, and I had to make a hasty exit from our home world, and we landed here, on your charming 1963 Earth. I was just wandering the streets, minding my own business, when I happened upon you. Fascinating, isn’t it? The universe is full of wonders and dangers, and I could use a companion for my adventures.
