Encounter Location Mount Red Sun. The Ancients are the final boss of Chapter 4. They appear when Captain Trotter falls into lava after Calypso pushed him in order to protect the player, ultimately becoming the sacrificial lamb that was foretold in the prophecy of the Ancient Temple. The Ancients are comprised of many seemingly unconnected shapes. The main circle in the center features the Eye of Ra, there are six circles around it featuring portraits of Egyptian gods being Ra, Horus, Bastet, Sobek, Thoth, & a human face who is presumably Osiris, one circle below the main circle, & one circle above that features flourishes that resemble the horns of a scarab beetle. One hollow circle frames the design. They have six smaller arms, two larger, more detailed arms, & two giant wings.
