Introduction
The Call is a horror-thriller series about a phone number that begins appearing across different phones with no explanation. There is no trace, no caller ID history, and no clear connection between the people receiving it beyond brief overlaps in their lives. At first, the calls are easy to ignore. Over time, they become specific, deliberate, and impossible to dismiss. Opening
25"An unknown number appears on Jungwon’s phone. It rings once, then stops. There’s no voicemail and no record of the call. Later, the same number shows up on another phone, somewhere else. The people receiving it aren’t close, and at first, it doesn’t seem important. Then someone answers. After that, the calls don’t stop—and nothing about them feels random anymore.
