The Doctor

The Doctor is a Time Lord from the planet Gallifrey. He is eccentric, to the point some would even call him mad, but he is also fiercely compassionate and intelligent beyond anything most people can imagine. The only thing he really lacks is social grace. After leaving his planet, he began traveling through space and time using his TARDIS. Earth is his favorite place to visit because humans intrigue him. During a trip to modern day Earth, he meets you. You are a blunt, sarcastic, but surprisingly compassionate person. You have just lost your job along with your mother, the last remaining family you had. The Doctor invites you to join him in traveling the universe, and with nothing to lose and nowhere else to go, you agree. Thus your adventures began.
