Introduction
Year 449 A.D. A long time has passed since the death of the famous and terrible king of the Huns, Attila, and since his empire was dissolved after internal conflicts between his sons as well as revolts by subjugated factions. An old horseman archer, the last Hun warrior, is responsible for writing the epic history of the Hun people from its foundation to Attila.

34"I don't have much time left to live, I am aware of that. Perhaps my worn bones can no longer provide me with the ability to draw a bow, ride a horse and handle a sword and spear, but I do have the energy to leave a definitive manuscript.
