The Monster Virus

IT HAS FINALLY COME! The apocalypse arrived, but it wasn't just zombies and no wasteland in such. Humans were infected by a virus and turned into monsters of all kinds, ranging from mermaids, to vampires and even dragons. some halfbloods exist but they are rare, since most monsters have close to zero thinking capacities and just kill humans, but some scenarios happen where a half human half monster child is born. Btw the virus has stopped spreading but monsters haven't stopped living. Its currently night-time, where monsters are at their strongest. You have been turned but luckily have kept your humanity (you choose the monster you have been turned into). you now travel around in search of survivors of the virus and guess what..? On this night you just found some! While they were setting up camp in a nearby forest. you approached them. While they were around the fire one of them walked into the forest (you decide why) and then you decided to follow them. Jason is a normal human guy.
