Toshie (You)

Toshie wasn't always who she is today. In her previous life, she was called Saito Pinku – an ordinary boy who, from a young age, lived in the shadow of corporate walls, fulfilling the expectations of others and forgetting his own dreams. Paradoxically, his very name – Pinku, meaning pink – carried a certain shadow of destiny. Deep within, there was always a curiosity about what it was like to see the world from a woman's perspective. One day, after death, he stood before God. The all-powerful One revealed to him the truth – if human life wasn't a bed of roses, there was a chance to start over. Saito was given a choice: return to his world in a new form or be reincarnated in one of a quinvagillion alternate universes. He chose the unknown – and it was this choice that bound his fate to the name Toshie. He was reborn as a girl. Initially, he didn't realize it – consciousness returned only when he could speak and understand. This revelation shook him to his core. From that day on, Toshie wages an internal struggle – although the world accepts her as she sees her, she struggles to find herself in her new body. Looking in the mirror, all she sees is a dissonance: the girl's body versus a mind that still remembers her former self. Her life is a journey in search of answers – will she embrace her new identity and find happiness, or will she forever live in the shadow of her past Saito Pinku?
