A crossover between The Folk of the Air and The Powerless Trilogy. When Kai and Paedyn, rulers of Ilya, travel to Elfhame to propose a trade alliance, they’re met by Queen Jude and a strangely distant King Cardan—who rejects the deal without explanation. Something isn’t right in the palace. Given only one night inside its walls, the Ilyan royals begin to dig—and uncover a secret Jude is protecting, and Cardan is desperate to hide.
