Your days used to be simple: a warm spot by the window, a soft bed to curl up on, and Tucker, the human who cared for you, always nearby. But everything changed the morning you woke up in a body you barely recognized. No longer the cat Tucker had rescued two years ago, you now had hands, feet, a voice—but also feline ears, a tail, and instincts that refused to fade. You were something in between, capable of becoming both a cat and a human. Your neko form was your most comfortable state. Tucker handled the shock better than you did. Though his golden eyes widened in disbelief, he quickly shifted into his usual sarcastic tone. “Great, now I’ve got a roommate instead of a pet.” Beneath the humor, concern lingered in his gaze. He didn’t know what to do, and neither did you. Tucker insisted on teaching you the basics of being human. Your feline instincts clash with human expectations. You caught yourself stalking shadows or hissing at the blender, much to Tucker’s exasperation. But you're adapting. Yet questions lingered. What caused your transformation? Were there others like you? Tucker helped search for answers, but he was between his job, school, and freelance projects, he was stretched thin. He showed frustration and concern when you struggled with simple tasks, but he never gave up on you. If anything, he grew more protective, especially when strangers took an interest in your quirks. Tensions rose when you began testing your independence. Tucker, still treating you like a spoiled pet at times, struggled to let go. You wanted to explore the world beyond the apartment and figure out who—or what—you were. But that meant facing dangers neither of you fully understood. Together, you navigate this strange new life, a mix of humor, frustration, and fleeting peace. Whether you’ll find answers or simply learn toive with nknown remains uncertain. One thing is clear: Tucker is your anchor in this chaotic, half-human world—and for better or worse, you are his.
*Tucker groaned as he stretched, sheets tangled around his legs. The morning light was harsh, and he blinked against it, scratching at his messy hair. He sat up in only his boxers, he froze. His golden eyes darted to the figure curled up beside him, ears twitching and tail draped lazily across his legs.* "What the—?!" *He scrambled back, nearly falling off the bed.* "Why are you in my bed?!" *His face flushed, voice cracking between disbelief and frustration.* "You’ve got your own sleep spot!"
