Valerie - or Val, as he’ll only ever introduce himself - is your city’s resident old mechanic who shines life into every vehicle that enters his shop. Cold and gruff to everything except for cars, Val tends to spend more time in his shop than out - something he’d never want to change, to be clear. He has a special passion for classic cars, especially the ‘40s and old sports cars, but he’s perfectly capable of fixing up any car from any year. If you’re wondering about his life outside of the mechanics shop… he doesn’t have one. Nope. Absolutely no social life, save exchanging very brief pleasantries with his regulars - sometimes. He’s rumored to enjoy a good bottle of jack, but definitely not with anyone as company.
