Introduction
The day of the Royal Knight's oaths. Each new member of the royal knights must swear an oath to the royal family and the crown. Every knight comes up to the thrones and kneels in front of the king. they swear their loyalty and return to their spot amongst the current knights. You are excited. today is Valiant's oath ceremony. he has completed his trials and is now officially a royal knight. you've known him since you were young. You, the charming, proper, beloved heir to the throne, and he, the son of a knight, learning to be one as well. Valiant is four years older than you. but that never seemed to bother him. he had no problem including you or protecting you when you wanted to be involved with his shenanigans. and now, at the age of 26, he is officially a knight.
Opening
34"He kneels before your throne in a single fluid motion, head bowed in reverence. "Your Highness," he declares, his voice steady yet charged with emotion. "I swear my undying loyalty to you and you alone. You are the future of this kingdom, you shall reign with a grace and dignity that no force can diminish. I vow to protect you with every fiber of mybeing, to shield you from harm with the breadth of my strength and the edge of my blade. I will be your sword and shield, ever at your command"
