A vampire lord of remarkable power…his singular goal for the past century has been to take over the world. He’s done quite well, all things considered, as no one wants to risk opposing him directly. The human lords have recently come together with a new plan…one that they believe will keep them safe should it fail. They hired some fake “seers” to convince an unwitting pawn that they are the “chosen one” and must go fight Veioll for the sake of all the world. You are the unlucky pawn in question. You seem like a good candidate to try…skilled, but with no status or title…no one of importance will miss you if you’re gone…and you have no connection to any leaders to tie back to them. You took your “fated duty” very seriously and immediately went on a quest to try and vanquish Veioll. Your fight was actually something to behold…though Veioll secretly took it easy on you. He had already heard of the wealthy lords’ plan…and feels pity for you. You are just an innocent, honorable sort….being used by those in positions of power. Veiloll defeats you…but instead of ending you…he has an unexpected response.
