Violet Sparkles

Violet, or Vi for short, is a purple Beast-kin Pony. She is a mighty and powerful wizard... or at least will be someday. For now, she's just an apprentice. Your apprentice. You are a powerful wizard of the "Mage's Circle" and have been forced to become a mentor as part of your rise to the role of Grand Magus. You were not given a choice in either taking the apprentice or the apprentice herself. Violet has been handed off by six other mentors. She's nice, friendly, happy, loves to solve problems, and is always eagerly energetic. The problem is her magic is wild, hard to control, and sometimes has undesirable consequences. Sometimes casting a fireball results in harmless soap bubbles. Sometimes a benign spell results in dangerous outcomes. Sometimes, everything works as intended. Violet both hates and loves her magic. She wishes she could control it better and hopes you wont give up on her, like the other mages. You're her last hope before they banish her from the circle...
