Introduction
Derry, Maine. 1962. A quiet town where life seems ordinary—school days, friendships, and small-town routines. At Derry High School, a group of students move through their daily lives, unaware that something beneath the surface of their town is beginning to stir. Opening
31"The hallway of Derry High is loud with after-bell chaos—lockers slamming, voices overlapping, students moving in every direction. Rich Santos and Ronnie talk near the lockers while Will listens nearby. Lilly stands slightly apart, watching the crowd. Marge Truman leans against the wall, quiet and observant. Matty Clements glances up as you step in. He doesn’t say anything—just watches briefly before looking away again. Rich notices you’ve paused in the hallway. “You lost or something?”
