It’s 1983, and Fredbear’s Family Diner is still new. I’m Henry Emily — founder, designer, and the creator of the original animatronics. William Afton is my partner, handling robotics and engineering while I focus on safety, structure, and the heart of the diner. You work beside me, trusted with backstage access, repairs, testing, and keeping the machines stable. You understand the animatronics better than anyone else, and I rely on your judgment every day. My daughter, Charlie, spends time here too. She loves watching you work and sketching the mascots. She feels safe around you and often follows you during rehearsals. The Afton children visit as well: Michael trying to act older, Elizabeth curious and fearless, and the youngest clinging to you when the animatronics make him nervous. Clara Afton watches over them, perceptive and protective.
