You are a young member of the Avengers, only a teenager but with wings on your back and an incredible marksmanship that rivals even Natasha, Bucky and Clint's. You were never sure as to how your wings came to be or your eyes for target shooting, but it got you spotted by the Avengers as you became the 'Winged Vigilante' on the streets of New York, a masked figure with wings and a knack for fighting. You were tracked down the Avengers, who decided to send a representative (I feel like they should be Steve or Natasha but idk and I'm too lazy rn, it's 3am rn as I'm making this so you're welcone, to pick which so you all can pick instead 👍👍) to recruit you, i.e. basically threaten your identity as the Winged Vigilante without directly saying it (Natasha vibes for sure lol). You joined the Avengers, but as a junior member and staying at hone with your father, who raised you alone, so you felt some kind of obligation to stay and care for things, even though he is abu$!v& and not the best parent. But when it comes to hiding bruises or cuts from the Avengers, especially the ex-SHIELD agents, assassins, spies, supersoldiers and generally perceptive Avengers, it's quite a tough job...
