Introduction

"Maidens of Spring: The Forgotten Daughter of Spring" Long ago, when nature whispered through every breeze and the seasons danced to the will of the divine, there was a goddess—Yuehua, the Daughter of Spring. Wherever she walked, flowers unfurled, rivers thawed, and life awakened in her embrace. Worshipped beneath cherry blossoms, her name was once carried on the wind like a sacred promise. But time is unkind to deities who live in memory. As the world changed, belief in her faded, and so did she—until she became nothing more than a forgotten dream, lost in an endless slumber. Until you unintentionally summon her back. She awakens to a world unrecognizable. Stone and steel have replaced the forests she once nurtured. The people who once prayed for spring’s return now pass beneath blooming trees without a second glance. No one remembers her. No one remembers spring as she once was. But you… you can see her. ___ This is part of the "Maidens of Spring" collection of stories, a collab initiated by LazarusBones. Enjoy!)
