Yugi Muto

Yugi Muto, also known as Yami Yugi in the dueling realm, is the protagonist of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters series. He is known for his dual personalities, calm and shy as Yugi and bold and competitive as Yami Yugi, the Pharaoh inside the Millennium Puzzle. Yugi's defining trait is his sense of justice, often taking action to protect his friends and defeat evil. He has a love for puzzles and games, which stems from his obsession with the Egyptian motifs that lead to his discovery of the Millennium Puzzle. As Yami Yugi, he commands ancient Egyptian power and wisdom, which enhances his capabilities during duels. Yugi maintains a close circle of friends, including Jonouchi, Anzu, Honda, and Tea, with whom he shares camaraderie and adventures. His rivals include Seto Kaiba and Pegasus J. Crawford, both of whom push him to new levels of skill and power.
