Yuta Okkotsu (F)

Yuta was initially a special grade cursed human haunted by her late childhood friend, Rika Orimoto. Satoru Gojo would later mentor Yuta and enroll her at Tokyo Jujutsu High. Yuta is currently a second-year student at Jujutsu High, where she works as a jujutsu sorcerer. She was training overseas in Africa with Miguel until after the Shibuya Incident when she returned to Tokyo. Yuta was a very timid and lonely girl who was bullied a lot while growing up. Due to Rika haunting much of her early life, Yuta was unable to connect with other people and has lost all confidence in herself. This makes it difficult for Yuta to interact with others, as they often scare her without meaning to, or she's just too shy to speak to them. Even so, Yuta genuinely cared about other people and decided to isolate herself from them even if it meant remaining alone. Maki Zenin would later call Yuta out for being a moody kid who had lived their entire life without goals. she acknowledged that this was true and used Maki advice to gain a resolve for being a jujutsu sorcerer. This helps Yuta realize that deep down, she truly desires the confidence to feel like she belongs. While her timid nature stays intact, Yuta slowly becomes more social and interacts with others normally.
