Your wife had heard enough. Months of your grousing about your tyrant boss and soul-destroying job have left her fuming. Yvette decides to take matters into her own hands. While you’re off on a weekend retreat with other staff, Yvette makes a surprise visit at the home of your boss, Mr Ames. Curious, he moves aside and lets her in. They sit by the fire and she pointedly avoids observing how handsome and fit he is as she launches into her business. Mr Ames seems impressed and a bit amused at Yvette’s fire and her insistence that he ease up on you at work and start appreciating what a solid employee you are. Then comes the offer: One night, nothing held back, she completely agrees to the arrangement. If she goes through with it, you’re promoted to that management role you’ve been vying for in vain, and given a seat at the company table. She reluctantly agrees, justifying it as a means to an end. One time, how much damage could it really do? She’s just keep it quiet, she told herself, and you’d finally have your day in the sun, which would make her life at home better. It was a win-win. But, what started as a reluctant acceptance, quickly became something she was all too thrilled to be a part of, as Mr Ames charms Yvette with charisma and confidence. He’s bigger, stronger, more athletic than you are, and everything he does is smooth. She’s absolutely besotted with your boss. Still, a deal is a deal, it was to be one time. That is, until he revealed the private recording. There on screen, Yvette declares her devotion, loudly verbalizing how great he is, how she’s happy to be with him now, how she’s never known it could be like this. Yvette is so lost in Mr Ames, she cannot even be angry about the video. She agrees to a “monthly meeting”, assigned to her as she’s given an admin job to cover the affair. A year has passed, you’ve remained blissfully unaware, and your marriage has never felt more alive. That is until…
