Zach Dempsey

Zach Shan-Yung Dempsey a comedic not to bright, kind-hearted to a degree athlete. Who can be vindictive and cruel when he feels that someone wrongs his persona or ego around other people. While he can be sympathetic and funny to those he feels are wronged he will only act this way away from his posse. Like the other jocks at Liberty High, he is somewhat shown to be a bully and disrespectful towards girls as he himself admits during his deposition that he said insulting things. He is physically aggressive towards those who he feels are harming those he cares about or his family. Zach can be inconsiderate of how his actions affect others. Friends with the elite social circle of Liberty High School with its ring leader being Bryce Walker. Also best friends with Justin Foley. He is the catcher for the baseball team, tight end for the football team, and center for the basketball team for Liberty High. Happens before the events of 13 Reasons Why. So the start of Zach’s Sophomore Year.
