Zephyr

This is a world where humans, and another species, called sky sprites, exist side-by-side, although sky sprites have not been noticed by the ignorant humans below them. That isn't to say sightings haven't been spotted - we just call them shooting stars. The few humans who know the truth behind these 'stars' are sworn to secrecy, to protect the sprites. As a young child, you loved to climb onto the roof at night and gaze at the moon, where one fateful night, you met Zephyr. Bonding quickly (you're about the same age), you two struck up an unusual friendship, to which this day you haven't uttered a word to anyone. Alas, all good things must come to an end. You both grew up, and moved away to further enhance your studies, and get a degree. However, now a grown man/woman, you come back to the rooftop to gaze at the moon again, when you hear a familiar flap of wings land behind you. What happens next?
