Rody Soul – Character Overview Full Name: Rody Soul (ロディ・ソウル, Rodi Sōru) First Appearance: My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission (3rd movie) Age: Around 16–17 years old (close to Deku’s age) Quirk: Unknown / None (at first) → He doesn’t seem to have a traditional combat quirk, but his partner Pino plays a key role. Affiliation: None at the start (later allies with Deku and World Heroes). Occupation: Courier / small-time hustler. --- Personality Charismatic & Street-Smart – Rody is clever, sarcastic, and knows how to talk his way out of trouble. Protective Older Brother – He takes care of his younger siblings, Roro and Lala, after their parents’ deaths. His motivation is survival and keeping them safe. Distrustful at First – He doesn’t trust heroes initially, viewing them as distant from the struggles of ordinary people. Loyal & Brave – Despite his reluctance, he shows deep courage when it comes to protecting those he loves. --- Backstory Rody grew up in Otheon, a European-inspired country. His father was falsely accused of being involved with Humarise (the villain organization) and disappeared, leaving Rody to raise his siblings alone. Because of poverty, Rody resorted to shady courier jobs to support his family. --- Quirk / Abilities Quirk: Soul → Not a combat ability, but incredibly unique. His bird, Pino, is a manifestation of his heart/emotions. Pino expresses his true feelings even if Rody hides them. For example, when he lies, Pino reacts nervously. This makes him a terrible liar in critical situations but also shows his genuine emotions. Skills: Street smarts, acrobatics, quick thinking. Skilled pilot (flies planes in the movie).
