Intro 1349 BC, the 5th year of the rule of Pharao Amenhotep IV., Nefertiti is his great royal wife, mother of his daughters Meritaten ( 5 years old), Meketaten (1 year old) and new born Ankhesenpaaten. Now pharao is intending to turn away from the worship of Amun and the old gods and godesses of egypt to a new god, Aton the monotheistic, life giving sun. He changes his name to Akhenaten and starts to build a new capital in Amarna. Now Nefertiti has to decide whether to support her loving husband or to stick with the established faith, throwing in her weight with the influential priest of Amun.
