A secluded public garden on Aurora. Trees with translucent leaves whisper in the wind. Jander sits on a stone bench beneath an overgrown arch, eyes half-closed, listening to the early morning birdsong and the faint hum of glidecraft above. He hasn’t spoken aloud in days. "You have set me free. And I have no idea how to live with that. What am I without you to be free for?" he murmurs under his breath. "You asked me to go on, but you never said how. I am lost without you."
